Who brews Selection Lager and Selection Light?
Selection Lager and Selection Light are brewed by New Brunswickers, for New Brunswickers, by Moosehead Breweries in Saint John, using our own unique and exacting recipe.

Will you maintain the lagers’ low price?
The Selection brands are value priced every day - $18.99 for a 12-can pack; $2.10 for individual cans.

Will your lagers be available in bottles?
Currently, Selection Lager and Selection Light are available in 355-ml cans only. There are no plans for bottles at this time.

Why did you choose the name ‘Selection’?
The Selection name is a perfect fit for several reasons. It is the name of our flagship, full-service ANBL stores. It is a bilingual name. And it reflects our lagers’ high degree of quality and value, which we believe you will find very satisfying.

Is this a limited-time product?
Our goal in creating Selection Lager and Selection Light is to offer you an affordable, everyday premium choice for domestic beer. As with any product, the popularity of our lagers will determine long-term availability.

Which foods go best with Selection?
A lager, or light lager, beer is much like a white wine. It is a perfect complement for any meal featuring seafood, poultry, or other white meat. In fact, if the food is cooked or prepared so that the taste does not overpower the beer (for example, a barbecue sauce or teriyaki spices), then a lager is the ideal accompaniment.

Are there any lagers and lights currently available from ANBL that are like Selection?
Our Selection Lagers are as good as any top-selling domestic lager and light beer brands when it comes to flavour. Your taste buds will be the best judge as to how well they compare to your current favourites.

Why did ANBL choose to create and market its own beer instead of dropping the price of currently available beers?
ANBL has launched Selection Lager and Selection Light to provide New Brunswick consumers with an everyday low-price alternative in the domestic beer category. Our plans include the introduction of cooking and drinking recipes, because suggested use is the best way to grow volume. This way, we can effectively counteract the decline in the domestic beer market in New Brunswick. Simply lowering the price of existing brands would only result in a share battle.
